I-OYIAL EfiMONT LODfiE. The usual fortnightly meeting of the. Loyal Kgmont Lodge,' 1.0.0. P., M.U., was held last evening, P.O. "Bro. Brabant presiding in the unavoidable absence of tiie X.G., I!ro. Toms.
The annual balance-sheet was read and adopted. The membership at the end of 11114 was 200 males and 18 females, and the accumulated funds£72o9 Is. The sickness experienced during the year was rather heavy, the amount paid in sick pay being .CSI-t Is Sd, and the sum of £llO was paid in funeral benefits.
An interesting letter was read from the Hope of Sydenham Lodge, London, stating that -10 of their members were serving with the colors, and that it was estimated /'that 150,000 Oddfellows were with the colors 011 t! loCntinent. The Manchester I'liity was paying the contributions ot all members who bad enlisted.
, Correspondence was received from the District Secretary notifying the annual visit of district officers to the combined Hgmoiit and Excelsior Lodges on Tuesday, the inst., It ig hoped that members will make it convenient to attend that meeting.
