The Gisborne Racing Club's summer meeting concluded on Saturday in splendid weather. The totalisatur handled .U4,9HS for the day, making a total for the meeting of £28,723, compared with £22,070 last year. Results:—

Jones, trainer of Multiply, was severely captioned. An appeal is likely, but the machine paid out on Despatch Carrier.

Tn a fine finish the topweight prevailed by a good neck, Don Francisco was three lengths awav, followed at similar intervals by Gold Coin and Ladrone. Time, 2min 30sec.
