A CYCLIST INJURED.
SERIOUS ACCIDENT AT LEPPERTON; A young man named Perey Hopsoih employed by the Taranaki Hardwptf Co., at Stratford, met with a cident at Lepperton last night He wag cycling, it appears, towards 'New Ply. mouth, when a couple of motor-care passed him. Both got past, but tittn his wheel skidded,, and Hopson «fe thrown heavily to the roadway. Wfftn he was picked up, he was under the' bicycle, whose wheels were: still volving. He was brovfght by train to the New Plymouth hospital. The acting medical. superintendent informed us about two o'clock this morning thtt the youth was seriously injured, and still unconscious, having suffered a' fracture of the skull as well as injuries to hit: shoulder.
