A STRANGE FATALITY.
TVanganul, Last Night. A strange fatality occurred this morning. It appears t.h&« W. G. Hook, ft [ carrier aged 43, and John Armstiong, ft j clerk, were firing a- revolver at a. ben!zine tin in a hack yard in Muir street, Gonville. Armstrong had occasion to go into a shed, and ivhile heard two shots. The first hit the tin, but the second did not. On going back to Ilook, Armstrong found him lying dead' on the ground witli i bullet wound in Ill's forehead. Apparently nobody but Hook could have fired the shot, yet why lie should have done so is a mystery, as he was in good spirits when Armstrong left him a few minutes previously.
