In connection with the TongaporutuMimgaroa Road, the Minister of Public Works informed the member that for j the portion of the road cast of Kotare Stream, a sum of fii.94 Its been authorised to the Resident Engineer for new formation and metalling. For the section west of the Kotare Stream (Stratford Public Works district), a vote of £2500 was provided and authorised to the Resident Engineer. In reference to workmen's homes at i Waitara, Mr Massey informed the mem- , ber that any applications sent in will receive full consideration. The deposit to be paid is reduced to £l, instead of I £lO.
