Largo detachments of Germans are traversing Lodz, to the south-westward. Some newspapers suggest that they are retreating. A MINOR ENGAGEMENT. Received 25, 12.20 a.m. Petrograd, January 24. Official: Wei took 200 prisoners in repelling an attack in the Kirlibaba region. The situation elsewhere is unchanged. ENVELOPING THE AUSTRIANS. •MOVEMENTS ON ROUMANIAN FRONTIER. Received 24, 5.5 p.m. Bucharest, January 23. Russians are within four miles of Domawatra. They are also demonstrating at Mount Pestekawash, with a view of effecting an enveloping movement in ilostritz Valley, which will drive the Austrian force into Roumania.
