AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIPS. Wellington, January 21. The Wellington centre of tlic Amateur Athletic Association lias granted the Wairarapa Association's request tliat the provincial championships lie held at Masterton this year 011 the understanding that the Wellington centre receives one half the nett proceeds. February 20th was recommended aa the most suitable date. It was also decided that the country clubs championship meeting be held at Wanganui on a date to be fixed later.
