A DESERVING CASE.
The treasurer (Mr. J. Cavaney) desires to acknowledge receipt of the following amounts on behalf of the fund to obtain an artificial leg for Mr. J. Reilly, the young man who lost his leg ill a bush-felling accident at Whangamomona, and was unable to obtain compensation:—New Plymouth Waterside Workers' Union, £3; P. J. James, 2a; 3.
