ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A MINER KILLED. Bv Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Wailii, January 15. While a miner named Peter Vocasvitch, an Austrian, was boring a hole with a drill in the Talisman Mine yesterday, where work had been left off on December 18, an explosion took place, killing him instantly. It is thought that lie struck a "cut off." John McClear, who was working with him, was seriously injured.
