TARANAKI AUTUMN MEETING.. ENTRIES TO-NIGHT. A final reminder is given to horseowners and trainers that nominations for all events to be decided at the Taranaki Jockey Club's autumn meeting on February 10 and 11 close with the secretary, Mr E. P. Webster, to-night at 9 p.m. Nomination fee for all handicap events is a modest "sow," and for the Moturoa Electric Hack Race and Urenui Electric Hack Race ten shillings. The fine stakes offered by the Taranaki Jockey Club promise to draw record entries, the chance of racing at Hawera and at New Plymouth on four days out of eight being an inducement to outsiders to make the trip. The programme is as follows: —First Day: Waitara Hack Hurdles Handicap, 125 sovs., one mile and a half; Stewards' Handicap, 150 sovs., five furlongs; Timaru Hack Handicap, 100 sovs., six furlongs; Taranaki Cup Handicap, 500 sovs., 1} miles; Mimi Welter Handicap, 100 sovs., SJ furlongs; Okato Hack Handicap, 100 sovs., 8J furlongs; Flying Handicap, 200 sovs., six furlongs; Moturoa Electric Hack Race, 100 sovs., five furlongs.
