FIRES.
RAILWAY STATION' BURNED. By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Invcrearg'ill, Last Night. Tuatapcre railway station was totally destroyed by (Ire yesterday morning. No details are available. DRAPERY ESTABLISHMENT AFIRE. Dunedin, Last Night. A lire was discovered by Constable Dunlop in Penrose's drapery establishment in (jcorge street at ten minutes to 7 this morning. A great deal of damage was done by .fire, smoke, and water before the outbreak was finally subdued. The slock is valued at £30,000, and it is estimated that at least a third of that has been destroyed. There was no automatic alarm installation in the building.
