AN INEFFICIENT FORCE. TWO ARMY CORPS SUFFER HEAVILY. Petrograd, January 0. A communique states that, although abundantly provided with supplies, the 9th and 10th Turkish Army Corps undertook a movement against Sary Kaniish across mountainous, snow-covered roads and steep ridges almost without supply, convoys, or field artillery. They relied chiefly on the sympathy and liberal help of the native Mussulmans, whom emissaries had previously approached.
