TIMARU WOOL SALES. By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Tiinmru, Last Night. At the wool sale to-day, the second of the season, 13,370 bales were offered and 12,940 sold. There was a full muster of buyers. Most of the wool Was somewhat iheavier than at the first •ale, owing to the dry winds, but the majority of the clips were well grown. Competition was keen, and prices, compared with t v -> first gales as follow: Superfine, r. shade easier; intermediate, and low gra-'-> crossbreds, par to %d I'.igher. Th bulk of the catalogue comprised half and three-quarter and crossbreds, with very little merino. Locks, etc., sold well,, but irregularly.
