TOTALISATOR CLERK IN TROUBLE. By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Christclnirch, Yesterday. Archibald Binnie, aged 17, pleaded ffuilty to a charge that by falsely representing liis age to be 21 years, lie obtained a totalisator ticket at Kiccarton. George Mason, the clerk who gold the ticket, admitted the charge of selling to a boy under age, but pleaded that he did not see him. The Magistrate, Mr. Bishop, said lie would inflict a-heavy penalty, but deferred sentence till lie could sec the boy.
