THREE CASUALTIES. By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Paliiatufi, Last Night. Several accidents occurred here today. Denise McGrath, a staple employee, fell from a loft, and had both an arm and a leg broken. A two-year-old boy named Williams, the son of a Mangatainoka settler was kicked by a horse, and had his jaw fractured. Other minor eases arc reported. GIRL DROWNED WHILE BATHING. Wanganui, Last Night. A thirteen-year-old girl named Gwendoline Whiteford wna drowned in the river at Kaiwhaikc this afternoon. She and two other girls, named Tcimant and Rutherford were bathing when they got out of their depth and sank. Mr Merryweather dived and rescued two, but Miss Whiteford - s body was not found till two hours later. YOUNG LADY DROWNED. Nelson, Last Night. A drowning fatality occurred at Pokoror this afternoon, Miss Stella Everett, aged 24, a daughter of Mr Albert Everett, losing her life while bathing. It is presumed that she was seized by an epileptic fit while in the water. DROWNED WHILE BATHING. Invercargill, Last Night. Frank Cregan, aged twelve years, was drown in the Aparima river near Nightcaps while bathing with another. The body was afterwards recovered. Deceased got out of his depth.
