'THE PAIHATU..Y SEAT AND MR. FISHER. Dannevirke, December 31. Mr. J. IT. Escott, M.P., denies the statement that he intends to resign the Pahiatua seat with a view of enabling Mr. F. M. IS. Fisher to contest it. The statement, he says, is wild, and there is nothing in it.
