' The Master Bakers' Association Hasdecided to raise the price of bread by a J penny per 41b. loaf from New Year's Day, making the price Bd. per loaf. Id- ' ' is stated that some bakers have had to pay £lO per ton for flour, which is very; short here. Small parcels are being secured from Oamaru and Timaru, and a. little is coming from Melbourne. The arrival of the wheat obtained by the Government from New South Wales i»- . eagerly awaited.
