'Mr K. H. Nolan, of Hawera, in writing from London to a. friend, under date October 20, said Dr Valintine (InspectorGenwal of Hospitals), the. High Commissioner, and himself; had just completed a motor tour through the South of England, in the course of which they inspected a number of hospitals. Mr Nolan mentions that while in Chichester he spent an cvening'with the Bev. Mr Parvinirton, brother of Mr C. E. Partington, of Hawera, and also an evening with Major-General Davies.
