A new class for registered milking Shorthorns is being introduced in the schedule for the forthcoming show of the above Association, as Shorthorns are coming into favor again. Farmers will find it of benefit to. take advantage of the opportunity thu|i offered. A green feed competition, but slightly different from that of last year, is again to be included. This time it will be for the best single variety of autumn green feed, for milk production, from a crop of not less than half an acre, the weight of the crop to be taken into consideration. This competition is of great educational value, as it provides the farmers with a practical test on which they can base their selection of autumn crops.
