New Zealanders in Egypt.
AUSTRALASIAN FORCES LANDED. FOR DEFENSIVE AND TRAINING PURPOSES, Wellington, Yesterday. A telegram was received by the Governor this morning from the Secretary of State for the Colonies authorising his Excellency to announce that the Australian and New Zealand expeditionary forces have been disembarked in Egypt to assist in the defence of that country and also to complete their training there, When their training is completed both contingents will proceed direct to the front to fight alongside -the other British troops.
