AUSTRALIAN COMMISSION'S REPORT. ®y Cable—(Press Association —Copyright, Received 3, 12.30 a.m. Melbourne, December 2. The report -of the Royal Commissioo of Enquiry into the operations' of the Beef Trust in Australia has been tabled in the House. The report finds that American companies trading in the United Ivingdom, wiiich belong to a group known as the "Beef Trust," have been purchasers of Australian meat, though distributing agents abroad for a considerable period, and since if.he import duty on meat .was icmoved in the United States last year these .companies and others engaged ;in the trade in the United States have made pureJiases in Australia,and elsewhere for shipment to the United States. All these purchases were made -in the ordinary cwurse of business, and there was nothing to show that ttey wrae -not made -under wdinary competitive ,c.ouditie>ns.
