(LONDON MARKETS. London, November 30. The Argentine shipments are as follows.—'Mutton 161,703 carcases, lamb 43,348 carcases, frozen beef 172,315 quarters, chilled beef 106,453 quarters. Wool.—Arrivals 96,500 bales, forwarded -28,000 bales, available 75,000 bales, including 4000 bales on the account of the Continent, Copper.—Forward £54 10s, electrolytic £57 10s. Tin,—Spot £143, three months £l4l 'as. Lead, £l9 ss. Spelter, £25 15s. Silver, 22% d per oz. HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT.

(Note: Quotations, unless otherwise specified, are average market prices on spot). Mutton.—About the beginning of this week there was fair demand, but the trade has fallen off very much and the price has declined as the result of heavy arrivals of Dutch. —Canterbury sljd, best quality ewes, in good demand, 5Jd. , Lamb.—There has been no alteration in the market since last week. The market is dull on account of heavy arrivals of Dutch and Scotch which are selling at a low price. Canterbury Gjid, other than Canterbury GJd. Beef.—Little demand at the market prices which are based upon Government contracts. New Zealand hinds 6Jd, fores 53d, chilled hinds OJd, fores s|d. Butter.—The market is very firm. Danish, quiet, "143s to 146s per cwt.; New Zealand prices are firm and there is good demand at 130s to 1325, unsalted, 130s to 1345; Australian in small supply, in good demand, 126s to 128s; Irish creamery supplies are decreasing, 123s to 130s; Argentine, firm at 122s to 1265; Siberian, firm in good demand .at 120s to 1225. Cheese.—Market firm. Canadian white and colored, 77s to 78s per cwt.; New Zealand, white and colored, 75s to 76s per cwt t Shipment of cheese, ex "Corinthic" arrived in good condition. Hemp.—The market is speculative. There is better demand for spot New Zealand; good fair grade, £23 10s per ton; fair grade, £2l 10s; fair current Manila, £24. January-Mai<ch shipments, good fair grade, £24; fair grade, £22; fair current Manila, £24 10s. The output from Manila for the week was 12,000 bales. Cocksfoot Seed.—The market is firm in genera! and active demand. Danish 60s per cwt. Wool.—The market for merinos is •■easier, but very active, for erossbreds.
