VICTOBIAN (ELECTIONS. By cable—Press Association.—Copyright Melbourne, November 27. Many election returns are incomplete. The indications are that the result -will maintain, the Liberal administration in power with a practically undiminished majority. The Liberals went to the country holding 44 out of 65 seats, and promised to come I)ack with at least 43 seats. The city and suburban constituencies have ,so far as can be seen, all .been held by the sitting members, and change. Melbourne, November 20. The Labor Party has great hopes of winning to-day's State elections. THE TOTALISATOR BILL. ■■ * Sydney, November 26. Mr Holman says the Government does not intend to introduce the totalisator as a party Bill. It may allow one of the Ministers to bring in the Bill or enable a private member to introduce it. While personally opposed to the totalisator there seemed to be a fairly general desre for it.
