THE PRICE OF COAL. Sydney, November 27. A meeting of northern colliery proprietors decided to make no alteration in the selling price of coal during 1915. STRIKE AT COCKATOO DOCK. Sydney, November 27. Over four hundred men are rendered idle by the dock strike. Some of the unions are prepared to work the extra shift as an ordinary one; others demand double pay. There is considerable outcry against the latters' want of loyalty. SHIPPING COMPANY. Sydney, November 27. The board of directors of Howard, Smith and Co. decided to submit a scheme of reconstruction. The proposed new company will hafie a nominal capital of five millions in pound shares, and take over the interests of the present company as from December 31 next.
