Subject to necessary alteration, mails will close at the Chief Post Office as under: — SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 28. For Australian States, South Africa, China, Straits Settlements, and East Indies, via Auckland, at 6.15 a.m. MONDAY, NOVEMBER 30. For United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, North and Central America, and West Indies, at (5.15 a.m. Parcels for United Kingdom should he posted as usual. They will be sent forward as opportunity oifers. Correspondence for United Kingdom to be sent by the long direct route should be posted as usual, and specially marked "via Monte Video." The times for closing mails for places beyond the Dominion are liable to alteration (earlier or later.)
