| To the Editor. I Siiv —Recently, and heretofore, two | Jlangorei settlers seem to have taken charge of your aiul other columns to air their private grievances. I feel sure both must lie bores to you, and having i a brotherly feeling for you in the matter, might it not be a good spec, llr Editor, with you as referee and a little help if Benoni and IJale decide matters out of court by having the following:—A hundred yards' race, 2'20 hurdles and two five minute bouts with the gloves, proceeds for the Belgian Relief Fund, and to be held at Jlangorei on a Thursday afternoon, finishing lip with a game of billiards at Flannagan's or Drinkwater's, game to be played with tri-colored ebony balls and eo/i'ee free. It's pretty sure that all true lovers of sport would be there and so end a correspondence which is of 110 good to the public generally, ami must be distasteful to yourself. —i am, etc., , „ AIJKIETT.
