The quality is good, and high price*. are expected. NAPIER WOOL SALES. Napier, Last Night. The first wool sale of the season was held in the Municipal Theatre yesterday, when' over 17,000 bales were offered t» . a good atendance of buyers. In spit* .' of restrictions on account of the war, ' bidding was spirited, and there was an all round increase in price. The quality of wool offered was not up to the usual standard at this time of the year. Fleece was much heavier in grease, showing | signs of the dry spring. The westerly winds which have been experienced were responsible for the presence of much more dust than usual.
