I James Fletcher, manager of the Taupiri Coal Mines, Huntly, was arrested by Detective-Sergeant Cooney at Huntly to-day, on a charge of manslaughter in connection with the recent disaster at the mine. He was brought before the , Huntly Court, and remanded till NovcmI ber 27, bail being allowed in self £l5O, and two sureties of equal amount.
