IN THE CONGO STATE. FRANCO-BELGIAN VICTORIES. Bordeaux, November 10. ' Official.—The French occupied Nola, Congo State, and captured many prisoners, four quick-firers, and one can- ! non. Tho Franco-Belgians took Nzimeu \ after a two days' fight. London, November 10. Official.—The Franco-Belgian forces are now in possession of the Lower Sanga region of the Congo State, after severe fighting. FIGHTING WITH TffE REBELS. GENERAL BEYERS DEFEATED. SMALL UNION FORCE DISPERSED. Pretoria, November 10. General De Wet and two thousand followers dispersed a small Government commando near Winburg under General Cronje, M.L.A. General De Wet's son was killed. The Government is strongly reinforcing General Cronje. Captured rebels state that they were sjamboked by De Wet. Colonel Lemmer's Union forces totally defeated General Beyers' rebel's at the Vet River. Nine of the latter were killed, eleven wounded and 349 taken prisoners. Three Loyalists were killed or wounded.
