<m BLAZE IN A RESTAURANT,. By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Wellington, November !). A fire was discovered at 11.50 last night .iu tJieJ Bodega Restaurant, a three-storey brick building- in Lambton Quay. Before it was suppressed damage to the extent of some'hundreds of pounds was done by the ilames, smoke, 'and water. The lire started in tue kitchen on the ground floor and travelled up the lift-well to the upper stories. The building is owned by ,/. 11. Fair- ' bairn, licensee of the Occidental Hotel, and ;s insured in the, Yorkshire office for £2OOO. Til© restaurant is leased by Daniel CUeFarhiiie, who had the furniture insured for i'6so,' stock for £IOO, and the plate-glass windows for £4O, also in the Yorkshire Offic?.
