IIUMBAIiUMFAT OF PAPEETE. Auckland, November .1. An arrival in 'Auckland harbor to-day was the French steamer Francois, a vessel of GOO tons, which was in Papeete harbor when the place was bombarded by the Oerman cruisers and which, within u few hours, steamed, away t.p carry the news to the British authorities. The chief mate of the Francois states that when it was apparent that hostile cruisers were beyond the range of the guns in the fort, the French decided to reserve their ammunition to resist a possible attempt to land by the enemy. The most easily made, the most economical, and most enjoyable of all coffees is "Camp." Givo it a trial. All grocers.
