PIGEON RACING.
During the past fortnight the New Plymouth East Flying Club have decided three races. In the first, a tlock race from Frankton Junction, 37 birds com- J peted, representing seven lofts. ; The I successful birds were: —It. J. Moveiiey's "Sirius," 3hr 22min. 30sec, Ist; F. James' "Accident," 3hr '23min, 2nd; W. Rock's "Eden," 3hr 24min., 3rd. The second event, an interval race from Palmereton North, resulted in an easy win for E. Billing's "Nellie," ahr 33min, with F. James' "Challenge,'' 4hr. 7min Msec., 2nd., and 11. J. Moverley's j "Calais," 4hr 20min., 3rd. | The third, a flock race from Onehunga, ' resulted as follows:—II. -T. Moverley's "'Birius," 7hr , "Comet," 7hr 2flmin., 2nd; I''. James' j "Victory," 7hr 30min., 3rd. The win was a very popular one.
