W.C.T.U.

At the monthly meeting of the W.C.T.U., it was resolved to hold meetings every Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the lodge-room. Absentee members were urged to be present at the next meeting. 'Mrs. Lee-Cowie, who has been engaged by the Women's Christian Temperance Uinon, will hold a temperance mission in the Taranaki district, commencing on November 5. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to Mr Hoffmann for the use of piano.
