WAREA. (From Our Own Correspondent). On Tuesday a very successful dance was held in the Warea Hall in aid of the Poor m Britain Fund. There was a \ery large attendance, and as the committee in charge, Messrs R. Julian, C. W. licveff, \V. li. Clarke and A. Rooks had left iio stone unturned to ensure its success, they had a most enjoyable time. Mr. A. Hooks, as M.C., kept the ball moving merrily to music provided by -Mr. Harnltt, extras being played by several of the ladies present. Assisted by Mesdames Larking and C. Wells, the committee handed refreshments around, providing a pleasant break, after which dancing was resumed and kept up till the early hours. During the evening vocal items were contributed by Jlrs. Vincent. As a result tin; fund will benefit to the cxtint of X I 3s lOd, the gross takings being £7 7s 7d. Very little interest is at present, being evinced in tile county election, i'ossibly by polling day some interest may be aroused.
