Oltief-lJelective Herbert said that a« the inquest had -been adjourned till Thursday and as it was possible the case might be disposed of at tile in quest he would ask for a remand tall tomorrow afternoon. Asked bv the Magistrate if there was a probability of the ' charge being proceeded with, Detective Herbert isaid that he was not in a position to answer that, but the probable rosult seemed obvious.
