MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE.
A DIMEDIN CASE. By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Dunedin, October 28. In the Police Court to-day Ernest Dallas was oharged with, killing George Prain. Oltief-lJelective Herbert said that a« the inquest had -been adjourned till Thursday and as it was possible the case might be disposed of at tile in quest he would ask for a remand tall tomorrow afternoon. Asked bv the Magistrate if there was a probability of the ' charge being proceeded with, Detective Herbert isaid that he was not in a position to answer that, but the probable rosult seemed obvious. A remand was granted. Bail wag. granted in accused's own bond of £.>(>.
