A CREDITABLE PXIIIIJiTiON . By Telegraph.—l'ev i'rcsx Association. Blenheim, Lost Night. The Marlborough A. and P. Show opened to-day in splendid weather. The resources of the conimiunily here liiive Oiqniß the double strain of tlu- war and -tho dry season remarkably well. Tile general bulk and merit of the exhibition were well sustained. The aggregate of the exhibits was about 50 in excess of last year's. There was a slight falling off in draught, and thoroughbred horses, hut ligli,';. horses keep up to strength. Sheep pens were not so well occupied, •but there is a crclituible competition. Cattle and pigs are on a pav with last year, bni-, grain and seeds do not hulk so largely in quantify, though the quality is excellent.
