VISITORS FROM WANGANUI.
A number of dogates from- fit. Faul'a Bible Cliisspß, Wanganui, paid a. weekend visit lo New Plymouth. Wunday was spent at Si, Andrew's Church, the ielojrates iitiemJing ?>oth services, the evening oiii' romiuoted l>y litem, n'ilh a siit'i't appropriate address by the Rev. Roecveure. Jn the afternooa a. combined Bible Class service was held, ifter which ton was dispensed by tho 'ocal classes in the schoolroom, when & fery enjoyable lime was spent together. VTesterday the visitors were introduced to Iho beauty spots ol the town finishing up by a climb to the summit' of Parilutu. The day concluded with ft social in St. Andrew's schoolroom, at which there was a good attendance. A .programme of musical and other items WU tonlriiHik'd by the following: Pianoforte duet, Jlisses A. CockeT and Jarrig; pianoforte solo, Mr Armstrong and Mies Candy; songs, Misses Re» and Johnston (Wai'iganui), and Messrs .Ritchie (IWanganui), McGregor and MeClcllan, and Rev. Roseveare; recitations, Mr MicClellan. Supper was then served, after which the Rev. Roscvcare in a neat speech extended greeting from the New Plymouth classes to be carried to Bf. Paul's. The delegates suitably responded and the evening closed with the singing of "Auld Lang Syne," and the National Anthem.
