Some niednbers contended this clause was too drustic, especially as applied to poor people. Tho clause was eventually passed, with only a verbal amendment.

The final clauses up to 159 were passed, and the commit ti*i proceeded to the consideration of the lichedules. Tho edheduJes were passed without material amendmiuit, and the Bill reported.
