SUBMARINES IN THE BALTIC. RUSSIAN CRUISER SUNK WITH ALL HANDS. Received 14, 1.10 a.m. iPetrograd, October 13. A communique states that submarines in the Baltic on Saturday 'attacked the cruiser Admiral Makaroff, which was searching for a suspicious fisher-boat flying tiie Dutch Hag. Several torpedoes were discharged, but without effect.
Tho submarine on Sunday attacked tho cruisers Palloda-and Bayan. Both opened a heavy fire, but the submarines' torpedoes caused an explosion, sinking the Palloda with all her crew. a valuable discovery. German cruisers' coal stores located!
