PIGEON RACING.
The New Plymouth Bast Flying Club held a race last Saturday from Te Awtamuitu, a distance of 102 miles. Tlie 29 competing birds represented live lofta. Fast times wero prevented Iby the birds having to contend with rough weather. The results were as follows:—W. Radii's "Gift" 3hrs 45min, 1; F. Jajmfis' "Accident" 3hrs *sm'in 15sec, 2; B.
