THE &\NDON-.MARTON TRAIL By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. 'Marlon, Ootober 12. A meeting of delegates of local bodies interested waa held ati OVlarton this anorning to discuss the advisability of a tramwayi extimaion from Sandon to Marion. It was resolved tihat the Government be asked to add a daiwe to the Local Railways Bill to give district railway boards tho power to purchase private line* It was also resolvod that this meeting of delegates Savor tSie construction of the Randon-Marton local railway under the Local Railways Act, and set up a committee to define the boundaries and area when tlho Bill becomes law. A vote of thanks was passed to the Government for the passage of this Act,
