ANNUAL CONFERENCE. By Telegraph.— l'er Press Association. Wellington, October 9. The Baptist Union continued its sittings. The balance-sheet of the general fund showed receipts '£1630 and expenditure £1718; the foreign mission section, income £2952, expenditure, £3612. [Promises were made to liquidate both amounts. Misses Rice (Napier)"and Hall (Auckland) were accepted for the Indian mission. Tho Rev. A. V. North was appointed financial secretary for the Dominion. The receipt of an anonymous donation of £IOO to the general fund was acknowledged. The Rev. A. T. Brainsbj was regretfully struck off the ministerial rolls. The offer of Mr Montague Lacelles to support a native preacher in Bengal was accepted.
