Following are, details of the voting at tho poll on the Opunake harbor loan; Opunalcc: For 131, against 46; Oaonui; For 10, against 12, informal 1; Te Kiri: For 17, against 15, informal 1; Pihama: For 8, against 2,'), informal 1; totals: For 180, againsti 80. There aro about 450 ratepayers on the roll and 279 votes were recorded, just about half the ratc-I-ayers polling. At tho.annua! meeting of the Lawn Tennis Club tho receipts for the year were shown at £57 0s 3d,' and the expenditure £sl 5s 3d, leaving a credit bnlanco of £5 15s. The assets were valued at £lO3 and the liabilities nil. The election of officers resulted:—.President, Mr. W. J. Knell (re-elected); vice-presidents, Mrs. O. W. Rogers, Dr. Barron, Messrs F. Des Forges, E. B. Stohr, A. E. Brunette, A. J. Brennan; secretary and treasurer, Mr. W. J. Knell (re-elected); assistant secretary, Rev.'Welsh (re-elected); general committee, Rev. Welsh, Dr. Barron, Messrs A. Clarke, Marshall, D. Des Forges, I'lytAe, D. Trotter and Stubbs; ground committee, Rev. Welsh, Messrs Clarke, Dos Forges, Trotter, Blvth; selection committee, Dr. Barron, Rev. Welsh and Mr. Marshall; ladies' committee, all lady members of the club. It was decided to affiliate with the Taranaki Tennis As»o»iation. The season will bo opeu&d ou October T.
