SALE OF WORK. Tbo sale of work organised by" tha St. Andrew's Ladies' Guild was opened in St. Andrew's Hall on Thursday afternoon, when there was a large attendance. The bazaar was held in aid of the general funds' of Hie shurch. A visit to the hall evidenced! the fact that the ladies Jiad spared no efforts to make the a Hair a success, and the displays made by the prettily decorated stalls, eaoh with its load of attractively arranged articles, presented a fine spectacle. The sallc of work was continued in the evening, when there was again a good atto.Janee of tue public, The en™ of £35 was netted a» the 'result of ths dlay's proceedings. In the evening a number of concerted items was rendered 'by a party composed of Ms3cs Rea, Cocker, Ambury, Doile, lira McQuirtcr, and 'Messrs. Ilenrichs .indi McOlellan, with Mr Golding at ths piano. An item by a number of girls, under Miss Eca, was ilso staged.
