MEETING OF GENERAL COMMITTEE

IA meeting of tha committee of the Taranaki A. and P. Association was held at the secretary's ollice last night, Mr J. S. Connett presiding. The. draft of the report and balancesheet* to bo submitted to the members at tho annual meeting was approved, and a. copy is to be forwarded to each member.

The date of tho annual meeting was fixed for Saturday, October 3 ,at 1 p.m., in the Town Hall. It was decided not to hold a stallion parade this year. Two new members wore elected.

The question of appointing a country organiser and canvasser was discussed, and referred to the Finance Committee.
