Spence. of the Executive Council, Senator Gardiner. Honorary' Ministers Messrs H. Mason, J. Jessen, and Senator Russell. [Messrs Fisher, Peairce and Tudor *r» the only members who were in Mir. Fisher's last Ministry, Messrs Batcfoeror, Thonuas, OMaltey, McGregor, Findley and Frazer having been dropped.]

The caucus decided to create a new Federal Works Department to control Canberra, the Federal railways, and all Federal public works, excepting naval am) fortifications. The new portfolio was given to Mr Jensen, increasing the Ministerial salaries from £12,000 to £14,000 or £15,000. General satisfaction is expressed witK the new Ministry.
