- - RAIDERS IN RHODESIA. GERMAN ATTACKERS DRIVEN ACROSS THE BORDER. Received 10, 1.10 a.m. Capetown, Sept. 15 (morning). The Germans attacked Abercom, near Lake Tanganyika, on September 5, but were repulsed by Maxima. They rehewed the attack on the Bth, with field guns. Finally Lieut. McCarthy and 00 men, by a forced night maiMi with a Maxim, drove the Germans over the border with considerable loss. The British sustained two casualties.
