A public trial of the Omega milking machine will be held at the farm of Mr. E, Johns, Bell Block, on Tuesday, This will without doubt be interesting to the dairymen of the district. The Omega mijking machine secured the large gold medal and £25 cash prize from the Royal .Agricultural Society of England last year after severe trials against tjvelve of the world's leading machines. The Omega is claimed to be the most hygienic milking machine on tl4 market, as no rubber tubes arc used for the milk to pass through, tubes being used instead; construction is very simple, and the machine takes very little power to drive. The representative of the company, Mr. C. A. Anderson, informs us that this machine is taking on' splendidly in Europe; in; fact, wherever it has been introduced.
