The engineer is to report further on the question of tho' filling near the Baptist Church in iLardet street. The question of requiring a Concrete manure pit at ..a' J. W. West's stables in Egmont street was deferral, pending the decision of the Harbor Board on the lessee's application for a renewal of lease which expires on 30th November' next.
The engineer is to report on the application to add the "borough as a party to the plumbers' industrial award. The question of ; talcing' proceedings a breach of the building- toy-laws* in connection' with additions to 'Mr R. Johnson's stables at Fitzroy was left -to the engineer, wit!h power to act. The engineer was authorised to proceed with the setting, back of the kerbing and channelling in Devon 'street central, the kerb stones to ; %e used in some other street.
Instructions were given to apply to title Harbor Board for permission to" lay a six inch. water pipe to the breakwater. '
