Advices have been received that three German steamers, the Furth, 'Australia, and Moltkefels were captured by tlw East India squadron and taken to Colombo.

THE PATRIOTIC FUNDS. Received 1, 9.40 p.m. Sydney, September 1. The Lord , Mayor's fund totals £60,000, and the War Food Fund £21,000.
